Tapestry Institute works in a number of different ways to help people learn about and understand Indigenous worldview and Indigenous ways of knowing. Our programs are being dramatically energized by our new Land-based Heart of the Earth, Yakni i Chukash initiative, so this page is in process of being rewritten to share the many new opportunities you will have to engage with the processes of Indigenous Knowledge. Meanwhile, please see our existing resources, including a Circle model of the Ways of Knowing and Learning and an example of how the different ways of knowing apply to understanding tornadoes. Our blog offers opportunities to discover basic principles of Indigenous worldview and experience the power of learning and integrating knowledge acquired in many different ways.
