NOTE: So many people asked if we were offering these workshops after the holidays that we have decided to run them in January and February.
Economic catastrophe, environmental devastation, divorce, death, Illness -- a crisis of change seems the hallmark of these times. But there is wisdom that allows you to not only survive times like these, but be empowered by them. It's found in nature, in other cultures, and in different ways of knowing and learning. This workshop series explores the wisdom of cataclysmic change as it's expressed in nature and a variety of cultural motifs, and then shows you how to apply the power of that understanding in your own life. This workshop draws upon centuries of Indigenous understanding, lessons from the natural world, and scholarship by authors and psychologists such as Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Joseph Campbell, and Marion Woodman. You'll explore changes in nature, and learn how they affect the natural world and humans. You'll explore Old World story about change and see how it can lead to a new understanding of ourselves and the world around us. This is not a workshop where you will be lectured to - you will actively participate in learning about change and how change can lead to empowerment.
