This 11-minute video clip from a presentation about an Indigenous view of the prairies of North America offers a doorway into Indigenous worldview. The speaker is the author of this learning exercise, and the recording was edited from a November 2021 Zoom lecture given to an Indigenous Studies class taught by Shawn Wilson, Ph.D. (Cree) at the University of British Columbia. This presentation and the story it tells show the interwoven nature of the Land, relational knowing, and the Circle that conceptually manifests the ontologic pattern of the natural world.
